Do Your Best!

We’re all about encouraging boys and girls to make friends, be helpful to others, and do their very best no matter the outcome. With the help of powerful learning projects and exciting outdoor activities, we aim to teach children that doing their best can be a fun and rewarding experience—no matter the difficulty of the challenge.


Pack 38 is a family pack which encourages both boys and girls in grades K-5 participate together in scouting activities.

The Lion Program:

Character and Leadership
Learn about the cub scout program, the cub scout motto, scout law and what it means to be a scout..

Explore the outdoors
Lions and adult partners will take a walk to explore the outdoors.  Along the way, they will see and identify things that are natural and things that are man-made.

Personal Fitness
Lions will explore the different food groups, have fun being active, and the importance of rest.

Citizenship
For Lions, citizenship begins at home with those they live with.  They will explore how they can contribute to their home and community.

Personal Safety
In partnership with the Barbara Sinatra Children’s Center Foundation, Lions will learn about the “Protect Yourself Rules” and other skills needed to stay safe. 

Family and Reverence
Lions learn about their family by exploring the faith traditions and celebrations that make being part of their family special.
